This is an elevated Chinese Restaurant. The menu is really pricey, but it's worth it for a special occasion. You must reserve a Peking Duck in advance, if not, you will not be able to order it at the table. Reservations is recommended.
We ordered the Peking Duck with the fried rice, Chili Crabs, Lobster Ma Po Tofu, hot and sour soup dumpling, soft egg shu Mai, and imperial pork. My favorite were the Peking duck and the imperial pork. The pork is super soft and delicious. It was like a taste of heave. Highly recommend this place for a special occasion celebration. -

"Well that was quick" my dining companion quipped as our Mott 32 Classy Chinese fine dining meal was 47 minutes from start to finish.
Rushed service & mediocre food- all at a silly high price point.
The soup dumplings were the only "star" of this disappointing show. The egg rolls were literally shrimp & egg roll papers. The fried rice was bland. The spare ribs were covered in a sticky, red sweet crust. We love Chinese food & we love fancy food. But... this fancy Chinese is a no-go. At least we still have most of when evening to ourselves. -

Were the dishes elevated dim sum offerings? Yes.
Was it worth how much we paid? No.

I really liked the HK one despite it being expensive so was excited to try this one too. Everything was pretty good but for this cost I want everything to be spectacular. A few things were ok, so I'm giving it a 4.
I went with my mom for lunch.
Barbecue Iberico pork was really great. Sweet and soft, but it really ought to be for 52CAD. I'd order it again.
Scallop, shrimp & beetroot dumplings looked beautiful, didn't taste as good as it looked, but I liked it. The skin was a little thick.
Garlic prawn spring rolls, hot & sour Iberico pork Shanghainese soup dumplings were solid.
The pork short ribs were good but probably unnecessary. Our server recommended it to us when I asked if he thought we ordered a good amount of food. Wasn't a particularly great recommendation.
Signature crispy sugar coated bbq Iberico pork bun was good too but it wasn't signature-good. I could have skipped this and ordered another dumpling in retrospect.
Dessert was good too, but probably could have been skipped as we were pretty full. Or, the portions were pretty big so we could have shared one.
Service was good. Food came out quickly. Plates were taken away quickly once we were done. Bill came quick. Servers were all polite and charming.
I'd definitely go again but I prefer if somebody else paid for me :-P -

If we don't know if this restaurant is at the Trump Hotel, we will never go to this restaurant. However, since we have already ordered the Beijing Roast Duck in the first three days, we are honored to receive our reservation. A carriage arrived and the whole duck was on the carriage. The waiter asked me if I wanted to take a photo? Eddie asked the master to turn the duck over and found that the duck was half-over baked that was burning .we asked to change one. They cut about half of the ducks and placed them on the table. We asked them how they planned to deal with the rest of the ducks (because we bought it for $95) and they told us that we could give us duck fried rice - we had to pay $20...
It looks like a real robbery.
